Need to Succeed pointers: The True source of success!

I recently read a good book on sales. But what bothered me is the advice that when you have success, it is important to internalize it by telling yourself that the success happened because of YOU. You earned it, you worked for it, you are smart, and you know this stuff! The greater the energy, the greater the success.

As some of the statements are partially true, however, the foundation of the idea is flawed. The Bible contradicts this philosophy by saying in Deuteronomy 8:18 (NIV) 18 But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth,

Every success that you and I will ever acquire is because of God’s favor and blessings. So instead of internalizing your success, you personalize it, by identifying the true source of success…not you, it’s GOD!
